Got to Love Youth Days

Four Hunters, Four Limits.  Mallard Rain went outside the Dike for 28 Takedowns.  This hunt was very similar to the last time we hunted a Youth Day.  It was a Sea of Green.  Good to see this many birds so late in the season.  23 Mallards and 5 Pintails coming at you.

It Take Two to Tango

Who likes Bands? Mallard Rain likes Bands.  Check out the Double Limit Two Band hunt for Ben and I.  He's on the board with his first one.  Bling Bling.

Who Likes The Underdog

With one of the last picks and an hour later our backs were against the wall.  Who would of expected trip limits by 9 am. I have never had that much time on my hands at the Rodeway. We also had double digits the next day as well. Check out our bag of color.

S2 Cackling Cackler Hunt

S2 owner Bryan Stone got Mallard Rain on the geese finishing with 5 limits today.  Assistant Mike just asked for a 6 pack to finish they day and was he rewarded with some geese and a Cinnabon from pilot.  Here is the lineup.

The Cards are in our Favor

Mallards, Mallards, and more Mallards.  On their way to 7 limits Mallard Rain's Knotty Duck Dan achieved the groups first Royal Flush in only 1 hour.  Lets just say this may have been the best hunt they ever had. Check out some of the harvest.

Zero to Hero

Freezing cold and no birds with just 15 minutes before we were going to leave, they started flying. Double, Double, Double, and then a Triple.  This lead to the surprise note in the check station box "Nice shooting 3W, Fun to watch." Zero to Hero what a fun hunt at Fern Ridge.

Spoonville

Just what we expected Spoonies plus a bonus of two Greenheads.  Were excited to hit Sauvies tomorrow where we are bringing a beginner into Mudhole.  Numbers looked good so wish us luck for a great hunt.  Pictures of Andrew, Auburn, and myself from Spoonville.
